Creation of the Basel International Junior Music Competition

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support of our online competition.

We have received many wonderful comments from fans who regularly view our Instagram, such as:
• “I want to participate in the Basel International Vocal Competition when I grow up!”
• “I wish there was a category for pianists under the age of six!”
• “This was my first online competition, and I want my students to try it, too!”
• “I’d love for my child to take on the challenge of an international online music competition while they’re still flexible and young!”
• “I dream of performing in a famous hall in Tokyo!”

Thanks to these inspiring suggestions, we have decided to create a Junior Music Competition.

For the creation of the flyer for the Junior Music Competition, we took inspiration from observing past overseas participants, resulting in a truly beautiful design. The piano section, for instance, starts with upright pianos—a reflection of the idea of never forgetting one’s beginnings. This sentiment was deeply infused into the flyer’s design.

The Junior Music Competition will feature categories for piano, vocals, string instruments, harp, and wind instruments. We are committed to cherishing children’s dreams and will put our hearts into organizing this competition.
