| Prof.Capucine Chiaudani from Genova Dramatic Soprano Voice Professor at Kalaidos University in Zuerich Born in Genoa, the Italian daramatic Soprano Capucine Chiaudani studied singing at the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in Venice and at the Conservatorio G.B.Martini in Bologna. She went on to further vocal training at the Opernstudio in Zurich, with the Soprano Gabriella Tucci and the conductor Maestro Paolo Vaglieri. She participated to masterclasses with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Dalton Baldwin, Giusy Devinu and Maestro Leone Magiera. Professor for Classical Singing at the Kalaidos University in Zürich, Capucine gave Masterclasses as guest-professor at the HKB University of the Arts in Bern, the Swiss Opera Studio in Biel, the Operastudio Netherland Amsterdam, the Lyric Opera Studio in Weimar, the Berlin Opera Academy, the Accademia Europea di Musica in Erba (Italy), the Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy New York, the Conservatori Superior de musica del Liceu in Barcelona, the M Institut for the Arts Washington, the Mosf Mediterranean Opera Studio Festival. She performed in world-renowned opera houses and festivals mainly Soprano and Mezzosoprano roles, such as Medea, Tosca, Fedra, Desdemona, Leonora (Forza del destino, Mim', Fiordiligi and Despina (Cosi’fan tutte), Donna Elvira, Alice Ford, Nedda, Flora (Traviata), Gertrude (Hänsel e Gretel), Berta (Barbiere di Siviglia), Laura (Luisa Miller), Maria de Buenos Aires (Piazzolla) and others. She sang the main role in the world-Premiere recording of the opera Fedra of Johann Simon Mayr for the label Oehms Classics, avaiable also on Amazon. Nowadays her biggest passion is to pass her stage experience and know-how on to younger generations of singers and to make known the technique of the Italian Belcanto worldwide, in presence and online. |
